Monitoring and Reporting · Managed IT Services
We would rather know before you do.
Servers, network, backups and services watched continuously, with alerts tuned to mean something, and a monthly report written for a manager rather than an engineer.
What we watch
Continuous, not a nightly glance
Servers
CPU, memory, disk, services and event logs. Thresholds set against your normal, not a generic default.
Network
Switches, firewalls, links and internet circuits, including the ones your provider says are fine.
Backups
Success is not a green tick on a schedule. We check that the job ran, completed and can be restored.
Cloud and services
Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and hosted applications, including licence and mailbox limits.
Security signals
Failed logins, new admin accounts, unexpected changes. The quiet indicators that precede an incident.
Capacity
Growth trends, so you replace a disk on a Tuesday rather than at midnight on a Friday.
The monthly report
Written to be read
- What broke, what we fixed, and how long it took, against the response times in your contract.
- The three issues generating the most work, and what it would cost to remove them permanently.
- Capacity and licence headroom, so budget conversations happen early.
- Anything we saw that concerns us, including things you did not ask us to look at.
