Life at Stark

The engineers behind every rack we build, every network we secure and every system we keep running.

Why our team matters to you

Good infrastructure is built by people who stay

In IT services, the difference between a supplier and a partner is whether the same engineer who designed your environment is still there 2 years later when something changes. We have built Stark around keeping that person.

Our engineers are trained on the platforms we deploy, certified by the vendors we partner with, and rotated across projects so knowledge stays inside the company rather than walking out of it. That is why our clients speak to people who already know their environment — not to a queue.

What it is like here

4 things we hold to

We grow our engineers

Vendor certification paths, lab time on real equipment, and senior engineers who are expected to bring juniors up with them — not to keep the knowledge.

We work as one team

Cairo, Alexandria and Assiut work the same projects. A site in one governorate is staffed by whoever is right for it, not by whoever is nearest.

We celebrate together

Project go-lives, iftars, team dinners and long nights that ended well. The people in these photos have been in the same rooms for years.

We take ownership

Cutovers happen at night and at weekends. When a client’s business depends on the migration landing, our engineers are on site until it does.

Career path

Where you can go from here

We promote from inside. Every senior engineer and team lead at Stark started on this path, and the criteria to move are written down rather than implied.

01

Junior Engineer

Structured onboarding, shadowing on live sites, first vendor certification within the first year.

02

Engineer

Owns workstreams on client projects. Second-level certification and on-call rotation.

03

Senior Engineer

Designs solutions, leads implementations, and is accountable for bringing juniors up.

04

Team Lead / Solution Architect

Owns the technical relationship with clients and the architecture across multiple projects.

Learning & development

We pay for the certification, and the lab time to earn it

Our partnerships are only worth something if our engineers are actually certified on them. Supported tracks include:

  • Server, storage and converged infrastructure — Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo
  • Virtualisation and cloud — VMware, Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V
  • Networking and structured cabling — Cisco, Aruba, and certified cabling systems
  • Network security and firewalls — Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto
  • Information security management — ISO 27001 lead implementer and auditor
  • Internal knowledge sessions, run by our own engineers after each major project

We are always interested in good engineers

If you want to work on real infrastructure — data centres, networks, security — and be trained properly while you do it, we would like to hear from you.
