Nexus

Corporate Operations Management · by Stark Technology

A complete Corporate Operations Management Application.

Everything an ERP promised, without the ERP project. Nexus runs your people, payroll and attendance, CRM and customer messaging, sales, purchases, warehouse, service desk, projects and finance from one system your staff use from day one.

On our cloud, inside your own data centre, or split between the two. Egyptian data residency where the law or your contract requires it.

Ask us for a demo. We show it running on your own process, not a slide deck.

Nexus in 80 seconds

The usual ERP project, and what Nexus does instead.

Twelve modules, one dataset. From the first customer message to the bank line, typed once.
Why Nexus

Deployed. Then used the next day.

The usual ERP project takes a year before anyone uses it, then a consultant for every change. Nexus is a finished product: it is deployed, configured to your structure on screen, and your team is working in it the next day.

Everything ERP promised. Without the project.

Changes go in on the fly and are live after a simple acceptance test. Your own forms, fields, approval chains and desks are set up on screen, not coded.

  • Your team is working in it the next day
  • No consultant for every change
  • Start with the modules you need, add the rest as you go
  • One login, one dataset, fully audited
Built around you

Off-the-shelf asks you to change. Nexus adapts to you.

Clients did not come to us first. They came to us after an off-the-shelf suite, and they stayed. Here is why.

Friendly to the end user

One login, one screen per job, and the mobile app for people on shift. Staff who never used an ERP use Nexus after a short walkthrough, because it looks like the work they already do.

Easy to customise

Forms, fields, statuses, priorities, SLAs, approval limits, roles and reports are configured on screen by your own administrator. No code, no change request queue.

Plug and play

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, your Active Directory, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Teams, Slack, Telegram, the Egyptian Tax Authority, your bank and your attendance devices connect with settings, not projects. Start with the modules you need, add the rest when you are ready.

Runs from day one

It is a product in production, not a blueprint. Your organisation, policies and data go in, and the first payroll, roster or quotation comes out the same week.

Fully audited

Every record change carries who, what and when. Approvals mirror your delegation of authority. Auditors and the tax authority get evidence, not descriptions.

Corporate operations, complete

Twelve modules on one dataset cover the whole operation: from the first customer message to the bank line, and from a vacancy to a payslip. Nothing is typed twice.

Who it is for

Built for operations where people, customers and stock all move at once

From a 20-person office to a workforce of thousands on shift, and on more than one site.

Shift-based workforces

Call centres, facilities, retail, logistics and field teams, where hundreds of people change schedule every week and payroll depends on getting that right.

Companies selling through many channels

Enquiries arrive by website, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and e-mail, and every one has to become a lead, a quotation and an order someone owns.

Regulated and audited businesses

Organisations that have to evidence approvals, access, e-invoices and changes to an auditor or the tax authority, not describe them.

Multi-site operations

More than one branch, warehouse or site, where head office needs one live view rather than emailed summaries.

The platform

Twelve modules, one dataset

Nothing is re-entered between them. A change in one is a change everywhere, immediately, with the trail to prove it. Start with the modules you need and add the rest as you go.

People and HR

  • Employee records, contracts and document expiry reminders
  • Org chart, reporting lines and delegation of authority
  • Onboarding and offboarding checklists across HR, IT and warehouse
  • KPIs with an annual review cycle, learning and development
  • Self-service profile, leave and requests for every employee
The single source of truth every other module reads from.

Recruitment

  • Vacancies with a public application link and CV upload
  • Pipeline stages, interviews and candidate e-mails
  • Offer letter generated and signed electronically
  • Signed offer becomes an employee and an onboarding ticket
  • Candidate data retention handled on a schedule
From advert to first day without a spreadsheet.

Scheduling and attendance

  • Shift rosters across sites, with coverage and gap analysis
  • Attendance from fingerprint and face devices
  • Mobile check-in from the Nexus phone app, location-checked
  • Overtime, leave and public holidays by your own policy
  • Daily exceptions: missing punches, late, absent
Designed for hundreds of people changing shift every week.

Payroll

  • Salaries, allowances, deductions and overtime
  • Social insurance, tax and end-of-service
  • Mid-month joiners and leavers pro-rated automatically
  • Payslips generated and distributed
  • Runs reconciled against attendance before approval
No export, no re-keying, no reconciliation spreadsheet.

CRM and customer messaging

  • Leads, pipeline, accounts, contacts and activities
  • Website forms arrive as leads automatically
  • WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram in one shared inbox
  • Automatic lead assignment and auto-replies
  • Every conversation linked to its lead or customer
The message a customer sends is the first line of the deal.

Sales

  • RFQs, bills of materials and quotations
  • Branded quotation offers with your own numbering
  • Orders, deal follow-up and sales reports per owner
  • Support contracts with monthly, quarterly or annual billing
  • Custody and expense accounts for field teams
From enquiry to invoice, with the approvals your policy sets.

Purchases

  • Internal purchase requests with approval chains
  • Purchase orders and supplier records
  • Budget checks at the point of request, not after the spend
  • Supplier balances next to what was committed
  • Purchases linked to the order or request that caused them
Approvals reflect your delegation of authority, not a vendor default.

Warehouse and assets

  • Asset register with check-out and check-in history
  • Licences with seats, keys and renewal dates
  • Your own fields per asset type, and your own columns
  • Minimum stock warnings per type
  • Excel import and export of the whole register
Every laptop’s story, from the day it arrived.

Service desk

  • A desk per department: IT, HR, facilities, finance
  • Your own forms, statuses, priorities and SLAs
  • Assignment, workflow and approval rules
  • Tickets by e-mail, linked to the asset they are about
  • Built-in and custom reports, scheduled by e-mail
Configured, not coded: each desk is set up on screen.

Documents and e-signature

  • Branded templates filled from live data
  • Reference numbers issued and logged centrally
  • Sign in Nexus with your company account, or by a secure e-mail link
  • Completed PDF with a signing certificate page
  • Signed documents filed against the employee or client
Contracts and offers signed without printing a page.

Finance

  • Client and supplier ledgers in EGP and USD
  • Invoices submitted to the ETA e-invoicing system
  • Bank statements imported and matched for review
  • Bank API and host-to-host connections where the bank offers them
  • Profit and loss, cost centres and margin per contract
Nothing reaches the books until someone confirms it.

Projects, reports and dashboards

  • Projects, tasks and timesheets against clients
  • Reports per department, exported to Excel and PDF
  • A dashboard each person arranges for themselves
  • Management cockpit across sales, cash and margin
  • Notifications in Nexus, Teams, Slack or Telegram
If a number cannot be traced to a transaction, it does not belong on the report.
How it joins up

One record, carried end to end

The same customer, item and amount travel from the first message to the bank line, without being typed twice.

The same holds on the people side: a vacancy becomes an applicant, an e-signed offer, an employee, an onboarding ticket with the laptop checked out to them, a roster, attendance and a payslip.

Not a demo. A platform businesses run on today.

Client identifiers are withheld under confidentiality. Sector and scale only.

Call centre operations · regional

Entire workforce operation, 24/7

A major regional call-centre operation runs its whole workforce on Nexus, around the clock, with no maintenance window. Load-validated beyond 10,000 concurrent users.

Stark Technology · Egypt

Our own company

HR, payroll, attendance, CRM, sales, purchases, warehouse, service desk and finance. We are the first client and the most demanding one, because we feel every defect before you do.

Deployment · flexible

Cloud, on-premises or hybrid

Deployed inside a client data centre where personnel and payroll data is required to stay in the country, and on our cloud where it is not.

References can be provided directly, on request and with the client’s agreement.

Architecture and deployment

Where it runs, and what keeps it running

The platform is operated by the same engineers who build data centres for a living. That is the reason the uptime number is defensible.

Cloud, on-premises or hybrid

Run it on our cloud, inside your own data centre on your own hardware, or split it by data classification. The decision is yours and it is reversible.

Data residency

Where Egyptian law, a client contract or a regulator requires personnel and payroll records to stay in the country, they stay in the country.

Security and audit

Role-based access, an audit trail on every record change, approval chains that mirror your delegation of authority, and secrets stored encrypted.

High availability

No single point of failure by design. Horizontal scaling across the application and database tiers, monitored to the same standard as the infrastructure underneath.

On the phone, too

Nexus installs on Android and iPhone from the browser. Staff check in, see their schedule and answer requests without a separate app store download.

Support

The same 24/7 agreement as the rest of your Stark services. One contract, one number, no finger-pointing between a software vendor and an infrastructure supplier.

How it goes live

Live in weeks, not quarters

Nexus is a product, so going live is configuration and data, not a build. Most clients are working in their first modules within weeks and add the rest as they go.

Before you call

The questions we get asked most

Is Nexus a product or a custom build?

A product. Its twelve modules are in production today and we run our own company on it. It is configured to your structure on screen. Where a requirement is genuinely outside it, we build that part and integrate it, and we will tell you honestly when configuration will do.

We already have an ERP. Does Nexus replace it?

Yes, and it works better for corporate operations. Nexus is friendly to the end user, removes the complexity an ERP brings, and covers the operation from day one: people, payroll, attendance, CRM, sales, purchases, warehouse, service desk, projects and finance. It is easy to customise and plug and play, without ERP-style projects or consultants for every change. Where you want to keep a system, Nexus connects to it rather than forcing it out.

Do we need Microsoft 365 to run Nexus?

No. People sign in with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory or any OpenID Connect provider, or with local accounts. E-mail goes out through Microsoft 365 or any SMTP mail service, and notifications reach Microsoft Teams, Slack or Telegram. Your own administrator sets all of it up on screen, in Admin, without a project.

How is it licensed?

Per project, as a perpetual licence or a yearly subscription, with the modules you need. Implementation and support are quoted separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Can our WhatsApp Business number work with Nexus?

Yes. Your number is connected through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform, and your team can keep using the WhatsApp Business app on the phone at the same time. Messages from WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram arrive in one inbox in the CRM, linked to the lead.

Does it handle e-invoicing with the tax authority?

Yes. Invoices are prepared in the Egyptian Tax Authority’s format, signed with your company’s e-seal and submitted, and their acceptance status is tracked against each invoice.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Nexus installs from the phone’s browser on Android and iPhone. Staff use it to check in, see their schedule, request leave and answer their tasks.

Can it run inside our own data centre?

Yes. Cloud, on-premises or hybrid, and we deploy it on your hardware where data residency or the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law requires it.

Who supports it after go-live?

Stark, under the same 24/7 agreement as the rest of your services. The people who built it are the people who run it.
