Consolidation, migration, and licensing that still makes sense
VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox — designed, migrated and consolidated by a partner for all three, including moving off licensing that no longer adds up.
Virtualisation, end to end
Platform design
Host sizing, cluster topology, network separation and shared storage, built to survive a host loss instead of merely to boot.
Consolidation
Physical servers and sprawling guests consolidated onto a right-sized cluster, with the resource contention measured rather than assumed.
Migration between platforms
Guest by guest, with drivers, boot mode and guest licensing handled and a rollback point at every step.
High availability
HA, live migration and controlled failover, tested at handover rather than discovered during an incident.
Licensing review
An honest five-year model across the three platforms. This is the conversation most clients actually want.
Operations
Patching, capacity review, snapshot hygiene and backup verification under a written agreement.
Partner for all three
Which means the recommendation is not decided by who pays us.
VMware
vSphere design, migration and support, with an honest model of what the licensing now costs you over five years.

Open-source virtualisation with Ceph or ZFS storage and Proxmox Backup Server. Often the answer when licensing has become the largest line in the budget.
Read moreHyper-V
Failover clustering on Windows Server, frequently the cheapest correct answer for an estate that is already Microsoft.

1. Assess
Hosts, guests, storage, licensing entitlements and the applications nobody documented. That last one is where migrations fail.
2. Design
Target topology, storage, networking and the cutover sequence, written down and agreed.
3. Migrate
Staged windows, rollback point at each step, old platform kept live until the new one is proven. Our engineers do the night and stay for the morning after.
4. Support
Monitoring, patching, capacity and backup verification under a service agreement.
Common questions
VMware licensing has gone up. What are our options?
Stay and negotiate, move to Hyper-V if your Microsoft entitlements already cover it, or move to Proxmox. We model all three over five years including the migration cost, which people forget.
Will a migration cause downtime?
Some, per guest, in agreed windows. Anyone promising none across a whole estate is not being straight with you.
Can you migrate our physical servers?
Yes. Physical to virtual is routine, and it usually surfaces applications that were never documented, which is a good thing to find in a project rather than an outage.
Send us a host and guest inventory.
With your licensing position we will model what each of the three platforms actually costs you over five years, migration included.
